Dr. Swamini Svatmavidyananda Saraswati has taught at several universities nationally, including UC Berkeley. Swami Tyagananda joined the Ramakrishna Order at the monastery in Mumbai in 1976 after graduating from the University of Mumbai in India. He received spiritual instruction (mantra-dīkṣā) from Holy Mother’s disciple Swami Vireswarananda and his monastic vows (sannyāsa) from Swami Gambhirananda. Besides Mumbai (1976–80), Tyagananda served in the monasteries at Belur Math (1980–82), New Delhi (1982–83) and Chennai (1983–1997) and was sent to Boston in 1998 to assist Swami Sarvagatananda. He is the Hindu chaplain at Harvard and MIT since 1999 and, after Sarvagatananda’s retirement in 2002, he was appointed head of the Vedanta Society in Boston. Tyagananda was editor of the English journal Vedanta Kesari for 11 years (1986–97) and has written, translated and edited fourteen books. He writes a fortnightly blog and his talks are available as audio podcasts. He has presented papers at academic conferences and he gives lectures and classes at the Vedanta Society as well as at MIT, Harvard and, on invitation, other colleges and religious groups in North America.

Swamini Brahmaprakasananda Saraswati is a disciple of Pujyasri Swami Dayananda Saraswati, the founder of Arsha Vidya Peetham (Rishikesh) and Arsha Vidya, group of institutions present all over the world . She came to be the disciple of Pujya Swami Dayanandaji from a very young age. In her poorvashrama she had many years of clinical practice after her M.D. in Obstetrics & Gynaecology. She also pursued the study of Paniniyam Vyakaranam and other texts for nearly 12 years from Shri. Bhandari, a Sanskrit scholar from Dahanu - Maharashtra. She joined Arsha Vidya Gurukulam, Anaikatti - Coimbatore, for a long term course in 1990. She was also a Sanskrit teacher in this course. After that, she continued to teach Vedanta and Sanskrit and administrator the following courses at the Anaikatti Gurukulam, under the guidance of Pujya Swamiji and the Acharya Swami Siddhabodhanandaji. In 2001 when Pujya Swamiji started a Gurukulam at Vedapuri, Nagpur - Maharashtra, at the request of Dr. Shrikant Jichkar, she was sent as the main teacher and as administrator of the place. Since then, she is the Chief Acharya of Dr. Shrikant Jichkar Memorial Arsha Vijnana Gurukulam. She has conducted three long term courses in Vedanta and Sanskrit with three years of duration each, in the Nagpur Gurukulam. Dr Ganesh Ishwar Bhat is the Associate Professor in Advaita Vedanta, Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan(Deemed University) Rajiv Gandhi Campus, SRINGERI. Born in Sirsi, North Kanara Dist. Karnataka. He had his Krishna Yajurveda adhyayana at Swarnavalli Mutt. After studying Advaita Vedanta under HH Sri Gangadharendra Saraswati Swamiji, he has qualified in the title examination Vidwan (M.A) from Karnataka Sanskrit University and M.A. in Sanskrit from Karnataka State Open University, Mysore. He received vidyāvāridhi (Ph.D.) degree from the Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha Tirupati, for the thesis namely A Critical Study of Advaita Philosophy in Vishnupurana on the basis of Sridhariya Commentary. He completed his Shikshashastri ( B Ed) in Rajiv Gandhi Campus Sringeri. He has edited 7 books and has written several research articles in Sanskrit and Kannada language. He has delivered lectures in several religious programs & participated in many Vakyarthasabhas and Kavigoshthis in different parts of the country.

The seeds of music were sown right in her childhood and her concert playing career began in her teens. She acquired Masters Degree in Music (Carnatic Classical -Vocal) from Andhra University, and the Doctoral degree in Music from Sri Padmavathi Mahila Visva Vidyalayam (Women‟s University), Tirupathi. She is an ‘A’ Grade Artiste of the AIR and Doordarshan, Hyderabad.

Although an MBA graduate in International business from a Premier institute in Hyderabad ; Arts , music textiles and spirituality has always interested me and the influence of one over the other has set me searching/ questioning. Dr. Karanam Aravinda Rao is a retired Director General of Police (Andhra Pradesh), who studied Sanskrit under Maha Mahopadhyaya Padmasri Dr. Sri Pullela Sriramachandrudu and studied Vedanta under Maha Mahopadhyaya Swami Tattvavidananda Saraswati. He has authored many books on Hindu philosophy.

Vinay Varanasi is a keen practitioner of Sanatana dharma. Based on his research and fascination, he has been exploring and presenting different indic works, in unique formats. Subhash Kak is Regents Professor at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, USA. His research is on artificial intelligence, quantum computing, history of science, and Vedic studies. Nearly thirty years ago, he made the surprising discovery that the ancient Indians knew that the sun and the moon are approximately 108 times their respective diameters from the earth. This knowledge was coded into temple architecture, in the 108 poses of Indian classical dance, and the 108 prayer beads of the japa mālā. He was the editor for the Indian Subcontinent Area for the UNESCO project on archaeoastronomy sites around the world. His work has been showcased in the popular media including Discovery and History channels, PBS, Public TV in Europe, and in several documentaries on science and art. Lakshminarayanan Satyan Chidambaran is a full-time student of Vedanta and Sanskrit based in Chennai. He has been studying Vedanta under his Guru, Pujya Swami Paramarthanandaji, since 2003. A graduate of IIT Madras in Computer Science and a post-graduate from the University of Michigan, Satyan served at a global software firm for 26 years in various technical leadership roles before leaving his job to focus on his Vedanta and Sanskrit studies full-time. Satyan was first introduced to Vedanta in 1996 at Chinmaya Mission when he was in the US. Subsequently, Satyan came across the teachings of his Parama Guru, Pujya Swami Dayanandaji, who opened his eyes with regards to how Vedanta is a Pramāṇa for Ātma Jñānam. Satyan then studied for almost a decade under Shri Vijay Kapoorji, a senior disciple of Pujya Swami Dayanandaji. At the Arsha Vidya Center in California, Satyan also helped organize public talks and retreats by Pujya Swami Viditatmanandaji and Pujya Swami Tattvavidanandaji. Satyan also started listening to Pujya Swami Paramarthanandaji’s classes on various Vedantic texts when he was in the US. Dr. C S Yogananda got his B.Sc., M.Sc.(Mathematics) degrees from Bangalore Univ. Balasubramanian. After his Ph.D, he spent two years in the Panjab Univ., Chandigarh. Surendranath Chandranath is a columnist and speaker on various topics relating to India's History and specifically the traditional knowledge systems. He is the Consulting Editor at Indic Today. Srinath Mohandas is an Assistant Professor in Education at the School of Ethics Governance Culture and Social Systems (EGCS) of Chinmaya Vishwavidyapeeth. He teaches, writes, speaks and conduct workshops on themes related to Education and Indian Knowledge Systems. He is also a student of Advaita Vedanta. Srinath was introduced to Vedanta as a teenager through the writings of Swami Vivekananda and Swami Chinmayananda. Soon after, he started attending weekly Chinmaya Yuva Kendra (Chyk) study circles led by Acaryas including Swami Gabeerananda and Swami Mitrananda, which expounded the philosophy in a systematic manner. Karthik Sharma completed his traditional studies in Advaita Vedanta under Dr. K. S. Maheswaran Namboothiri’s guidance, completing all the 15 levels of exams followed by the Mahapareeksha in Advaita Vedanta at Kanchee Veda Vedanta Sastra Sabha, Tenali. Following this, he studied advanced Vedanta texts under Mahamahopadhyaya Dr. Mani Dravid Sastrigal. He also learned Tarka-Sastra in traditional style under Dr K. E. Devanathan. Karthik Sharma participates in traditional vakyartha sadas across India. Karthik Sharma was honoured with Golden Ring (Suvarnanguleeyakam) by Mahasannidhanam, Sringeri Mutt in the year 2019. He was also awarded with the title ‘Advaitavedantaratnam’ by Kanchi mutt and advaita-vedāntavidvanmaṇiḥ’ by Indic Academy.

Swami Samarpanananda is an author and a monk of the Ramakrishna Mission, Belur Math. He came in contact with the monks of the Ramakrishna Order as a young student. Inspired by them, he joined the organization in 1980 at the age of twenty and became sannyasin (monk) at the age of thirty, as per the norm of the Ramakrishna Mission. Since his joining the order as a monk, he has worked at various centres of the Ramakrishna Mission, viz. Deoghar, Advaita Ashrama, Alo (Arunachal Pradesh), Narendrapur, Kanpur, Chapra (Bihar). He was Principal of Ramakrishna Mission Vidyapith, Deoghar, and was the head of Ramakrishna Mission, Chapra, Bihar. Presently he teaches ancient and modern scriptures at Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Educational and Research Institute. His work experience ranges from teaching to management through a lot of other responsibilities. He writes regularly for newspapers, journals and magazines like Prabuddha Bharata and Vedanta Kesari. He has been invited as guest lecturer at various institutions like IITs and IIMs. He is well known as an author and a speaker His first book, Tiya-A Parrot's Journey Home, was published in 2009. Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam highly appreciated the book, and recommended it freely as one of the top five must-read books. It is a suggested read for English for Class XI-XII under CBSE Curriculum. (Circular No.03/2012, CBSE/ACAD/DIR (TRG)/2012 dated 11.04.2012). It is also available in Hindi, Bengali, Bhasa Indonesian and as an audiobook. Subramanian (commonly referred to as Subbu) hails from a family of Samavedic scholars in the Puthucode village of Palakkad district (Kerala). He is an electrical engineer by qualification and a postgraduate in management from IIM Lucknow. He has 13+ years of experience in management consulting & industry and is currently working as Director of Strategy for a leading MNC in India. He has published operations & strategy case studies/ articles in leading national and international management journals and delivered lectures at IIM Lucknow (Noida), IIM Indore and VJTI (Mumbai). He is an M.A. in Sanskrit (Specialization in Vedanta) and Diploma in Manuscriptology, both from the University of Mumbai where he has also been a visiting faculty of Vedanta, Itihasa, Puranas and Bhakti. He was initiated into Carnatic music by his mother Mrs. Bhagyam (a trained Carnatic singer herself and direct cousin of Vidwan M.A. Kalyanakrishna Bhagavathar). He started his formal training at the age of 13 under Vidushi Smt. Vijaya Vishwanath until her demise in 2006. He then came under the tutelage of ‘Sangita Kala Acharya’ Vidushi Smt. Alamelu Mani under whom he has been learning for the past 15+ years. Both Smt. Vijaya and Alamelu Mani are among the senior most students and torchbearers of the Brindamma school. Vijaya Jayaraman is a published author, motivational speaker, and online writer. Professionally, she was Regional Transportation Manager in a Food Distribution company in Los Angeles, now retired from a professional environment and focusing on Vedantic studies & teachings. She has completed a course on World Religion and a course on Vedanta from Oxford University. Then she studied Basic Vedanta, Advanced Vedanta, Bhagavad Gita, Upanishads courses from Chinmaya International Foundation in Veliyanad, in the Ernakulam District of Kerala. She also attended classes under the guidance of Swami Ishwarananda of Chinmaya mission in Los Angeles and Acharya Mahadevji. Since 2017, she has had the opportunity to speak on Vedantic topics in Interfaith churches in the US and has been conducting Vedantic classes since 2018. Her first set of students were Americans from Virginia. She conducts Vedantic classes and spends at least 12-15 hours a day on Vedantic studies, full focus by Adi Sankara's writings. For her, this is the way of life, everything else is secondary.

Prof.V. Krishnamurthy is a former professor of mathematics and the deputy director of BITS Pilani with over two decades of association with that great institution. Born in 1927 into the family of an erudite Vedic scholar, Shri. R. Visvanatha Shastrigal, he has been systematically trained and has drunk deep of the Vedic tradition and Shastras from boyhood. This shines also in the present offering. He has lectured widely to both domestic and foreign audiences on our ancient scriptures like the Upanishads, Valmiki Ramayana, Shrimad Bhagavatam and Bhagavad Gita. He is a voracious writer with more than a dozen books on mathematics, Hinduism and Advaita Philosophy, making their public bow. His latest publication among others is Thus Spake Krishna. In addition, he is a recipient of half a dozen awards and honours for his distinguished thoughts and contributions, the latest being a Grateful2 Gurus Award by the Indic Academy.

Swami Advayananda, of the Chinmaya International Foundation (CIF), began his spiritual journey with the Chinmaya Mission at the young age of 18. Inspired by Pujya Gurudev Swami Chinmayananda, he joined Sandeepany Sadhanalaya* and was bestowed dīkṣā by Pujya Gurudev himself in 1992. He was initiated into the holy order of sannyāsa in 2003 by Pujya Guruji, Swami Tejomayananda, the Head of the Chinmaya Mission. While he served the Mission initially at their Centres at Kodaikanal and Trichy, Swami Advayananda took charge of Spiritual and Cultural Education at the Chinmaya International Residential School (CIRS), Coimbatore in 1996. After sculpting the lives of a generation of young adults, he became Acharya of the Sandeepany Vidyamandir** in 2000 and conducted the Vedanta Course in Tamil and English for young monks. Since 2003, at CIF, the Research Wing of the Global Chinmaya Mission, Swami Advayananda has overseen a significant expansion in the research publications and Home Study Courses of CIF. An accomplished teacher of Vedānta, with many Gītā and Upaniṣad JñānaYajñas to his credit, Swamiji has authored several books such as the Holy Gītā Ready Reference, a course in Advanced Vedānta, and research articles titled‘Vedanta Unveiled’, a series of articlesin Tapovan Prasad. He has also edited Vedāntic works in English and Sanskrit including the Foundation Vedānta Course, a course in Bhagavad-gītā, Īśvara-darśanam and Sūktisudhā. Swami Advayananda was part of the team that researched and coordinated the Upanishad Ganga (a Doordarshan teleserial) produced by Chinmaya Creations. He also served as Ācārya of the 15th Vedānta Course at Sandeepany Sadhanalaya, Mumbai. Most recently, Swamiji has overseen and co-redacted the publication of the 2-volume Brahmasūtra-catussūtrī-śāṅkarabhāṣyam, a profound and student-friendly English translation of the Ādi Śaṅkarācārya’s commentary on the Brahmasūtra with a detailed exposition that is extensively footnoted from 10 sub-commentaries. * Sandeepany Sadhanalaya is the premier Institute of Vedantic Learning of the Chinmaya Mission in Mumbai. ** Sandeepany Vidyamandir is the Gurukula of the Chinmaya Mission at Coimbatore.
