SUMMARY:Ayurveda for Yoga Teachers
DESCRIPTION:This retreat is specifically designed keeping Yoga Practitioners and Yoga Therapists. To develop confidence in integrating practical and authentic ayurveda principles and practices in your yoga teaching. Each participant will bridge gaps in their understanding of dosha\, dhatu\, gut metabolism\, and agni. Both self-care and teaching yoga students will be emphasized. \nKey Focus: \nUsing experientials\, clinical cases\, self-discovery\, and problem-based learning\, Dr. Bhattacharya will guide yoga teachers through the paths of understanding the gut\, the mind\, and the symptoms that are telling us what is imbalanced inside. We will focus on movement and its connections with vata\, monkey mind and how to address it lovingly\, and how to implement practical solutions to common imbalances. The retreat center is very close to ‘Kamadhenu Kshetra’ – a highly popular Raghavendra Swamy temple in the last few years. It would take about an hour to reach the retreat venue from the heart of the city. Participants have to make their own arrangements.
