Flight To Freedom: Exploring The Panchakosha Model And Its Practical Applications

Flight to Freedom

Exploring the Panchakosha Model and Its Practical Applications
Online Workshop

About the workshop

The Taittiriya Upanisad, in the Brahmanandavalli presents a very beautiful model known as the paksikalpana prakriya that explores the five-dimensional human system, beyond which shines the Atman. Each dimension of the human system is further superimposed on the image of a bird with head, wings, torso and tail.

While significant as a Vedantic model, this model can also be applied in an individual context to understand the physiological, cognitive, emotional and spiritual processes in humans.

Weaving together a study of the Paksikalpana Prakriya with practices of asana, pranayama, chanting and meditation, this weekend workshop, offers participants a mirror for reflection and transformative experiences.
