Dr. Arvind Kaushik

Faculty, INDICA Courses

Dr. Arvind Kaushik is a scholar affiliated with the research programme Vergelijkende Cultuurwetenschap (Comparative Science of Cultures), developed by Professor S.N. Balagangadhara at Ghent University (https://gyaana.eu/). He holds a PhD from the University of Pardubice, Czech Republic, where his dissertation focused on Tamil nationalism and separatism in South India, with particular attention to the Saiva Siddhanta religion. As part of the Erasmus (EU) Student Exchange Program, he spent time at Ghent University in Belgium, conducting research for a paper he is currently working on—a case study of interreligious dialogue and polemics between Tamil Saivites of Sri Lanka and Christian missionaries in the nineteenth century. Arvind Kaushik has since returned to his birth country, India, where he continues to pursue his academic and research interests.

Dimple is the Director of Academic Programs at INDICA. She is a passionate learner, writer, poet, marketer, transformation coach, and life enthusiast. Her educational background is diverse, encompassing the humanities (MA – Liberal Arts, MA – Eastern Classics), technology (B.E. in Electronics and Communication), and business management (MMS in Marketing). She has successfully led projects in challenging environments and has worked with several multinational corporations. She has also provided strategic guidance to numerous nonprofit organizations as a pro-bono volunteer consultant, communications executive, and transformation coach. With two decades of professional experience across the media, telecom, and technology sectors, she now dedicates her expertise to the field of Indigenous Knowledge Systems through INDICA Courses, a pioneering EdTech start-up founded by INDICA.
