Insights From Mandukya Karika

Mandukya Upanishad is the shortest of all the Upanishads which describes in just 12 verses the sacred syllable Om; presents the theory of four states of consciousness; and asserts that Om is Brahman – and that Brahman is this Atma. Sri. Gaudapadacharya has written a detailed Karika (commentary) on this Upanishad consisting of four Prakaranas.

In this Weekend with Wisdom, Swami Brahmavidananda will be sharing insights from Mandukya Karika of Gaudapadacharya on a number of topics including Atma as Avasthatraya-Sakshi, Turiya as Atma Svaroopa and Mithyatvam of the Jagat.
