  1. Sanskrit: A Gateway to Indian Knowledge Systems

Explore the vast expanse of Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS), which encompass philosophy, science, mathematics, medicine, spirituality, arts, and more. This course delves into the relevance of IKS today, highlighting sustainability, holistic health, and ethical philosophy through the lens of Sanskrit, the ancient language that has preserved these traditions.

  1. Introduction to Vedanga

Gain an overview of the six crucial disciplines that enhance the understanding and appreciation of Vedic literature:

  • Shiksha (Phonetics): Precise sounds for correct pronunciation and intonation.
  • Kalpa (Ritual): Detailed rules for Vedic rituals.
  • Vyakarana (Grammar): Mastery over Sanskrit grammar.
  • Nirukta (Etymology): Analyzing Vedic words for deep meanings.
  • Chandas (Meter): Study of poetic structures in Vedic hymns.
  • Jyotisha (Astronomy): Role of astronomy in determining auspicious timings.

Sanhita Vyas

Faculty, INDICA Courses

Sanhita Vyas is a BA (Sanskrit) from Shree Somnath Sanskrit University and MA (Sanskrit & Lexicography) from Deccan College, PGRI. She has completed B2.1 in German Language from Max Mueller Bhavan, Pune. She has worked with different organizations, teaching Sanskrit and German and is currently handling operations of E-Lingua Hub- a platform for teaching Languages. She is also pursuing Ph.D. in Sanskrit at INDUS University, Ahmedabad.

Dimple Kaul

Director, Academic Programs -INDICA

Dimple is the Director of Academic Programs at INDICA. She is a passionate learner, writer, poet, marketer, transformation coach, and life enthusiast.

Her educational background is diverse, encompassing the humanities (MA – Liberal Arts, MA – Eastern Classics), technology (B.E. in Electronics and Communication), and business management (MMS in Marketing).

She has successfully led projects in challenging environments and has worked with several multinational corporations. She has also provided strategic guidance to numerous nonprofit organizations as a pro-bono volunteer consultant, communications executive, and transformation coach.

With two decades of professional experience across the media, telecom, and technology sectors, she now dedicates her expertise to the field of Indigenous Knowledge Systems through INDICA Courses, a pioneering EdTech start-up founded by INDICA.
