In 2008, Indira was working for a corporate company and noticed that she started putting on weight because of the sedentary lifestyle which motivated her to join Yoga for weight loss and to be healthy. She started enjoying Yoga and its benefits to her body and mind so she joined a Yoga instructor course in SVYASA which left her with more curiosity about Yoga. Then she found her teacher Pradeep Sattwamaya through a1000yoga Academy based out of Bangalore. That was the perfect place for her to learn and share with students what she learned. After several years of just teaching and learning Yoga, she got an opportunity to train trainers of Cult.fit which she enjoyed thoroughly and that motivated her to move to Yoga teacher training courses. Since then she has been training trainers and sharing knowledge of Yoga. She is currently learning Vedanta and Upanishads under the guidance of a Guru hailing from the lineage of Pujya Swami Dayananda Saraswati, of Arsha Vidya Gurukulam, Coimbatore.
