Precision Nutrition and Meal Planning Through Ayurveda

Right from the conception, Ayurveda is designed to achieve wellness and longevity. Its knowledge base aims to educate and empower every individual regarding their discrete Psycho-somatic identity, through which it influences the diet and lifestyle choices that best fit a person’s health needs. Personalisation is done by determining one’s Prakruti (unique body type) and their emotional state, also great importance is given to Agni (metabolic temperament), Desha and Kaala (environment and seasonal variations), and Vyayama (physical activity).Detailed description about the qualities of various dietary substances, choice of herbs and spices helps with proper food combining. Finally emphasizing on the rules of eating and subjective quantity of consumption, Ayurveda highlights good eating practices for health and longevity. This presentation aims to highlight the principles of Ayurvedic nutrition and meal planning that guide individuals, families and communities towards precision diet.
