Sri Shreedhara Swami: Life, Dharma, And Vedantic Insights

The talk explores the life and spiritual legacy of Sri Shreedhara Swami Maharaj, a revered saint regarded as an incarnation of Dattatreya. Inspired by his Guru and the blessings of Samarth Ramdas, he traveled extensively to spread the message of Sanatan Vedic Dharma. The talk examines key events in his life and the philosophical depth of his teachings, highlighting how they illuminate core insights from Advaita Vedanta, DharmaShastra, and the Puranas. It also reflects on the relevance of his message for contemporary seekers.

Dr Chinmayananda A

Dr. Chinmayananda A earned his B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from BMS College of Engineering in 2012. He then spent three years as an IC Design Engineer at Signalchip Innovations Pvt. Ltd., a semiconductor startup. Pursuing his passion for advanced research, he completed his Ph.D. in Wireless Communication and Coding Theory at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru. His academic career began at PES University in 2020, and he later joined IIIT Dharwad in 2021, where he continues to teach courses in Mathematics, Signal Processing, Wireless Communications, and Artificial Intelligence. Rooted in Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS) from an early age, Chinmayananda studied Krishna Yajurveda under his father Arunachala Sharma, and Vyakarana Shastra under Vidwan Shridhara Hegade. He also learnt Carnatic flute under Vidwan Shankar Rao. During his PhD at IISc, he led the Samskrutha Sangha and taught Sanskrit to enthusiastic learners. His research seamlessly integrates IKS with Artificial Intelligence. He leads a project developing a mobile application designed to analyze videos to determine Ayurvedic Prakriti. His work on "Origins of Phonosemantics in Sanskrit" has paved a way for interdisciplinary research in IKS. His intellectual interests span Veda Bhashya, Yoga, Tantra, Advaita Vedanta, Puranas, and Nirukta, reflecting his dedication to both ancient wisdom and contemporary innovation.
