About the Retreat

What Makes Life Truly Meaningful?

Sādhanā-Pañcakam, attributed to Ādi Śaṅkarācārya, presents five verses and forty practical instructions that offer a remarkably clear framework for such a life. Its teachings range from everyday disciplines and values to profound insights into happiness, the limitations of worldly pursuits and the nature of the Self.

This retreat invites us to explore these teachings as practical wisdom for living meaningfully—to examine how we live, what we value, what truly fulfils us, and how we may move towards greater clarity, peace and freedom.

Through the Retreat, We Explore:

  • 15 facets of our hidden potential
  • 7 values that nurture moral and inner strength
  • The limits of worldly accomplishment
  • The deeper source of lasting happiness
  • The role of food in supporting spiritual growth
  • The journey from a life of seeking to a life of deeper fulfilment
