Harini Srinivasan

Author, Editor

Harini Srinivasan is an accomplished author, editor, and experienced content and project management professional with over 25 years of domain expertise across publishing, government, and edtech across India, Germany, and the Netherlands. A former civil servant with the Ministry of Defence, Government of India, she holds an MBA and a master’s degree in English Literature, and previously served as the Head of Content (EBG) at Aptech Ltd. As an author, Harini has written widely across genres. She is the author of two acclaimed historical mysteries set in ancient India—The Curse of Anuganga and Shadows and Secrets: The Pataliputra Conspiracy—as well as the historical YA novella The Merchant of Nagapattinam: The Origin Story. Her publishing repertoire also spans romantic comedies, children’s books, short stories, and contributions to landmark non-fiction volumes such as The Swinging 70s: Stars, Style and Substance in Hindi Cinema. Her editorial credentials include prestigious landmark volumes for the Publications Division, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India, editing multi-volume selected speeches of former Presidents Shri Pranab Mukherjee and Shri Ram Nath Kovind, and Vice President Shri M. Venkaiah Naidu, alongside iconic cultural works like Indian Dance – Through a Critic’s Eye and Legends of Indian Silver Screen. Through her consultancy, Lekhana Ink, Harini offers end-to-end publishing, content creation, and editing services. A dedicated mentor in creative writing for both children and adults, she has also been associated with the Scholastic Writer’s Academy Programme since 2021. She is based out of Gurgaon, India.
