This presentation will centre on the relevance of the Ayurveda today and how modern science is now discovering the truth of the ancient wisdom and how it translates to our diet and lifestyle today.

Angela Hope-Murray

Ayurvedic Practitioner, Podiatrist, Osteopath and Marmapuncturist

Angela is an Ayurvedic Practitioner, Podiatrist, Osteopath and Marmapucturist. Her interest in Ayurveda began in 1986, as an intern at The Lemuel Shattuck Hospital in Mass. U.S.A when Dr Vasant Lad came to the Pain unit and gave a talk. She had just been initiated into the Advaita Vedanta tradition and Ayurveda came like a tidal wave, which altered the direction of her life in a profound way. Returning to her native England she has continued to practice both from her home in Berkshire and at The Hale Clinic in London.

Host, Journalist

Sophia has been a journalist for over 15 years, and she has been practising hatha yoga for 20 years. She completed a yoga and Vedanta course at the Sivananda Yoga and Vedanta Ashram in Netala, and she's been practising hatha yoga in the Iyengar and Krishnamacharya systems. She is currently studying Indian philosophy and is a regular journalist
