Yoga Nidra for Stress and Anxiety Relief by Samanta Duggal

This session will be about the deeply relaxing and effective practice of Yoga Nidra. Samanta will talk about its  benefits and a  brief history followed by the  practice of yoga nidra. This particular session will be effective for letting  go of stress , tiredness and anxiety.

Yoga Teacher

Samanta is a well-respected teacher who has been dedicated to mind-body health for over 20 years. With a lifetime spent practicing Yoga, Dance, Bodywork and Movement, she is able to combine unique perspectives about wellbeing, healing and physiology. Samanta’s work centers on Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa Yoga, Yoga therapy. Ayurveda and Bodywork like Thai Yoga bodywork, Reflexology and Abdominal massage. She is also well versed with Diet /Nutrition, Dance Movement therapy, Vedic Chanting and Sound healing, Nlp and Health coaching. Over the last 17 years, she has explored and mastered several healing therapies for the mind and body and uses them in her group, private sessions, retreats and workshops. Samanta blends a wealth of knowledge and experience to create a unique approach that unites awareness with movement, breath, heart, and humour. She teaches in festivals, workshops and retreats around the world in Africa, Europe, Srilanka, South East Asia, and the Middle East.

Host, Journalist

Sophia has been a journalist for over 15 years, and she has been practising hatha yoga for 20 years. She completed a yoga and Vedanta course at the Sivananda Yoga and Vedanta Ashram in Netala, and she's been practising hatha yoga in the Iyengar and Krishnamacharya systems. She is currently studying Indian philosophy and is a regular journalist
