This retreat is specifically designed keeping Yoga Practitioners and Yoga Therapists. To develop confidence in integrating practical and authentic ayurveda principles and practices in your yoga teaching. Each participant will bridge gaps in their understanding of dosha, dhatu, gut metabolism, and agni. Both self-care and teaching yoga students will be emphasized.

Key Focus:

Using experientials, clinical cases, self-discovery, and problem-based learning, Dr. Bhattacharya will guide yoga teachers through the paths of understanding the gut, the mind, and the symptoms that are telling us what is imbalanced inside. We will focus on movement and its connections with vata, monkey mind and how to address it lovingly, and how to implement practical solutions to common imbalances. You will walk away with several tools to enhance your amazing yoga classes!

Accommodation: Only shared accommodation will be provided

Venue: Ritambhara Retreat, No. 69, BMTC Layout, Adjacent to Kammasandra Village, Lakshmipura Hobli.

The Retreat, located just on the outskirts of Bangalore city, is a small beautiful space dedicated to Yoga & spiritual studies and practices in a simple and clean environment adjacent to a farm of its own.

Reaching the Retreat Venue: The venue is about 22 kms from Majestic Bus Stand and is accessible through Magadi Road and Tumkur Road preferably through own vehicles. The retreat center is very close to ‘Kamadhenu Kshetra’ – a highly popular Raghavendra Swamy temple in the last few years. It would take about an hour to reach the retreat venue from the heart of the city. Participants have to make their own arrangements. If any assistance is required Indica Yoga Team will help.

Dr. Bhaswati Bhattacharya is a practicing physician-scientist integrating several medical systems and working with the question, how do we heal.
