(A Personal Story Of Coming Home To The Heart)
Silke shares her personal journey of how she came to live in Tiruvannamalai, home of Ramana Maharshi’s ashram and one of India’s most powerful spiritual centres. She reveals how living in such an intense place of transformation has had and continues to have a profound effect on her own spiritual practice and awareness. Silke also invites us into her unique experience and perspective arising from being a European woman living in a traditional Indian culture. The session includes samples of some of Silke’s most treasured Veda mantras that capture the richness of living at the feet of the mountain of spiritual fire.

Vedic Chanting Teacher
Silke has been intensively training in Vedic chanting since 2018. As a teacher of the Veda Studies community, she is well-versed in a wide range of Sūktams, Śānti mantras and longer recitations. She is grateful for the opportunity to have studied with Shantala Sriramaiah and with Madam Menaka Desikachar, as well as receiving the Advaitic teachings of Bhagavan Sri Ramana Maharshi. She also has a background of 13 years of music education. Silke is known for combining technical excellence with compassion and positive encouragement. She offers one-to-one and small group lessons online to the international community and in-person from her home nestled in the foothills of the holy mountain Arunachala in Tiruvannamalai, India. Lessons are available in both English and German. Silke is also available for in-person workshops in Munich, Germany. She looks forward to meeting you and helping you improve your personal chanting skills and practice.
