Indica Yoga in collaboration with KRIIS YOGA, Cochin, Kerala holding a two-day residential workshop on “The Power of Anatomy in Asana Practice” at Indica Gurukulam at Ritambhara, Bengaluru, we invite all Yoga enthusiasts and Yoga Professionals o make use of this opportunity to upgrade their learnings and teachings.

About the Workshop:

A meticulously curated 2 days’ workshop that focuses on the entire skeletal system, joint movements, major skeletal muscle actions with proper biomechanics and proper breathwork to enhance your asana skills and go deeper into the practice injury free.

This workshop opens a new horizon to the yoga practitioners to understand their true potential and limitations of their musculoskeletal system which helps them to go deeper into the subtler aspects through the improvisations in breath/exercise/asana practice. This course also helps yoga professionals to understand their client’s physique in a much better perspective and guide them with effective exercises/ asana practice.

Workshop Fee: Rs.7,000/- (Inclusive of Food & Accommodation)

Participants are requested to reach the venue on 14th Feb, by 5:00 PM

Open to all from the age group of 18 years and above

Accommodation: Only shared accommodation will be provided

Food: Simple sattvik vegetarian food with fresh grown vegetables from the farm

The Retreat Center, located just on the outskirts of Bangalore city, is a small beautiful space dedicated to Yoga & spiritual studies and practices in a simple and clean environment adjacent to a farm of its own.

Reaching The Retreat Venue: The venue is about 22 kms from Majestic Bus Stand and is accessible through Magadi Road and Tumkur Road preferably through own vehicles. The retreat center is very close to ‘Kamadhenu Kshetra’ – a highly popular Raghavendra Swamy temple in the last few years. It would take about an hour to reach the retreat venue from the heart of the city. Participants have to make their own arrangements. If any assistance is required Indica Yoga Team will help.

Mr. Krishnakumar P R

Yoga Facilitator

Krishnakumar started his career as a computer professional in the Middle East, but his interest in Indian culture and disciplines coaxed him to return to his native place. A patron of ancient healthcare disciplines, he then pursued a career in the tourism industry and headed the wellness tourism section. He simultaneously began learning Yoga and it did not take him much time to realize that yoga actually helps to deal with the trials and tribulations of modern life. He wanted to explore different dimensions of this discipline and wanted to share the knowledge with others. Krishnakumar is a ‘Yoga Alliance’ & ‘Ministry of Ayush (India)’ certified Yoga teacher, a certified personal trainer from American College of Sports Medicine and a healer certified from World Pranic Healing Foundation, with teaching experience globally, with his students from different parts of the world.

Krishnakumar is a resource person who facilitates yoga aspirants to become certified yoga teachers. He primarily follows Sivananda tradition of yoga, focusing on Hatha yoga, alignment-based asana sessions, functional mobility, gentle flow, guided meditation, strength & conditioning, yoga anatomy and yoga therapy
