Brahman – the ultimate reality – is revealed through two types of definitions; namely, svarūpa-lakṣaṇam and taṭastha-lakṣaṇam. While the second one emphasizes the presence of Brahman as the source of the universe with all its diversities, the first definition presents the innate nature of Brahman as the non-dual substance. The talks are aimed at understanding the logic underpinning the definitions and unfolding their significance in conveying the vision of Advaita.

Nama Japam or Nama Sankeertanam is the japa or sankirtana of nama (name) of the divine. The devotee chooses Ishta devata literally “cherished divinity” and picks up a name of the Ishta deva to repeatedly chant the name vocally or in the mind any time, anywhere. Devotees can form a group and do sankeertanam or singing together of name of the divinity. Namasankeerthanam is simplest and very effective way of worship in Kaliyuga.
An important aspect of Namasankeerthanam is the Devotional festivity (Utsava Sampradaya) under which one celebrates Divine Weddings of the deities such as Radha Kalayanam, Sita Kalayanam, Andal Kalyanam, Tulasi Vivaha, etc.

‘Abhinvavaiyakarana’ or the modern grammarian course has been designed under the guidance of the stalwart scholar of our times BrahmaSri Mani Dravid Sastrigal. The purpose is to introduce students to essential elements of the grammar of the sanskrit language so that they can read, analyse and understand texts. It would take nothing more than a few hours to understand the structure of the language so that you can start reading the texts in original. In this presentation, the attempt will be made to introduce all the essential concepts of grammar. Of course, it will take a lot of practice to internalise the concepts and build the required fluency. That is a life long journey and a good student should study under a teacher to crystallise the concepts of vyakarana sastra.
Sri Rama Gita is a beautiful portion from Aranyakanda of Sri Ramacharitamanas of Sant Tulasidasji. This is a dialogue between Sri Rama and Lakshmana. Lakshmana ask the following five questions to Sri Rama:

Reaching the Retreat Venue: The venue is about 22 kms from Majestic Bus Stand and is accessible through Magadi Road and Tumkur Road preferably through own vehicles. The retreat center is very close to ‘Kamadhenu Kshetra’ – a highly popular Raghavendra Swamy temple in the last few years.
